Synopsis
In this first book in the Jillian to the Rescue! series, we meet twelve-year-old Jillian as she struggles with grief at the loss of her parents. Forced to move to Arizona to live with a grandmother she barely knows, and an angry uncle who carries a long-standing grudge, Jillian’s loneliness threatens to overwhelm her. While Jillian endeavors to find a way to tell her grandmother about the horse she so desperately wants to keep, her Uncle Aaron secretly plots to ruin her plans--in the most horrifying way.
