Synopsis

About the Authors

Stephanie practices law, writes, and occasionally plays the flute in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she lives with her husband, Ted, and a poodle named Gypsy. Stephanie's major accomplishment is rearing two young women who don't let others tell them what they can't do. Many people told Stephanie when she decided to go to law school in the 1970s that she couldn't do it, because she was a woman or because she was shy. David Barrow spent his happiest hours in the elementary school library. It was there he read books about famous people and learned how to draw.
