About the Author

Keith Herman is a serial business entrepreneurand the founder and CEO of IPAEquities, a Los Angeles based investment and consulting firm. Heis an advisory board member with numerous technology companies, a globalkeynote speaker, and an author.

Born and raised in New Jersey and New York, he began hisbusiness career at the mere age of seven in Union, New Jersey, buying andselling gum and candy to school classmates. As he strolled along the streets tothe corner convenience store, to stock up with Bazooka bubble gum and Now &Laters, he knew it would lead to something much grander. His frequent solotrips on trains and subways into the various boroughs of New York, to meet hisfather, showed him life is an adventure and filled with endlesspossibilities.   

He continued to follow his interest in the sciences,studying biology, chemistry, and physics, and eventually graduated from theUniversity of Miami, intending to become a doctor. However, after taking thesummer to travel abroad, he returned to New York and decided to pursue a careerin law. Within three months, he was accepted to law school and made a move toLos Angeles, where he still resides today.         

Within a few short years after leaving law school, Hermanclaims he officially commenced his business career.
