Synopsis

Energetic Body Grounding presents a unique, karate-based method for improving your structural strength, balance and footwork. The movement model presented in the book shows you how to optimally use the ground in footwork while engaging your entire body in the process by forming "effective powerlines". Optimal grounding combined with proper breathing action leads to maximum energy increase while maintaining full mental and physical balance, which is vital in athletic performance. These factors also account for the optimal mental/physical condition for a reaction, which applies to a number of sports and physical activities. This approach is defined through practical exercises, which are helpful for the athletes as well as the coaches in different sports and can be performed by anyone in average shape. The exercises bring fast results, greatly improve the structural strength and may have a therapeutic effect by quickly rebalancing body and mind. The exercises are simple and easy to do, having the support of over 100 photos and illustrations. The photos in printed version are in black & white and do the job illustrating various technical points but if you prefer them in color you can choose the e-book version also available on Amazon.
