About the Authors

Cody Lanus is an Iowa native, raised in Omaha Nebraska, and moved on to attend High School and College in the Kansas City, Missouri area. He worked hard mentally and physically, ascending to become a Star Athlete in multiple sports with his Highest Achievements in High School and College Football. Many who were in the stands will still remember his name today. His powerful, compelling, moving story of his descent from that high position into a world of drugs, and how he 'Survived the Perfect Storm of Addiction' is written within these pages. His hope and prayer is that telling his story may help you or a loved one do just the same. Cody is currently serving out a 12-year prison sentence where he found himself while riding in the middle of that 'Perfect Storm.

This has led her to be an avid reader, student, and searcher of self-help books in the Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Lives of others.
