About the Authors
Dr. Nahndi Bush is a Physician and mother of three living and practicing in New Jersey. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Bush graduated from Princeton University with honors, with a BA in Sociology, and Certificates in Creative Writing and African-American Studies. She continues to enjoy writing short fiction, and this book is her first foray into writing fiction for children. Dr. Bush looks forward to writing more picture books, and collaborating with her teenage daughter Azure as illustrator in creating more books in the LiLi Rabbit series.
Azure Bush is a high school student who loves drawing and animating. Her drawings of the pet rabbit she adopted during the 2020 pandemic lockdown were the inspiration for LiLi Rabbit, Eat Your Vegetables. She is exploring colleges now, and hopes to pursue a career that will allow her to combine her love of animals with the opportunity to create.
