Synopsis

The Bible tell one big story.
Woven through every page is a golden thread—God’s great rescue plan, promised long ago and fulfilled in Jesus.
When people wander from God, He does not leave them lost. Instead, He sends a promised Ruler and Rescuer to bring us home.
Wise Guys: a Christmas journey retells the true Christmas story from Matthew chapter 2 in lively rhyme and rich illustration for readers aged 5-8. Beginning with a simple description of the wonder of the night sky, young readers are invited to follow a group of star-watching wise men on a long journey—one that leads not just to Bethlehem, but to worship.
As you read, discover how God used a shining star, ancient promises, and faithful seekers to point the world to His Son.
This story helps children see Christmas as more than a celebration—it is part of God’s big story, and it all leads to Jesus.

The astronomy elements serve as a gentle narrative hook, while the heart of the book focuses on worship, obedience, and God’s unfolding plan.
Part of the Golden Thread Bible Stories series, this book helps children understand the Bible is one unified story—God’s rescue plan—fulfilled in Jesus. Ideal for classroom reading, church programs, school libraries, and family discussion, it supports early biblical literacy while encouraging curiosity, reverence, and wonder.
