Every Saturday, a boy and his dad leave the noise of the city behind and drive to a place where it's quiet as a whisper and time seems to slow down.
There's a sausage roll on the way, a hole-in-one story he's heard a hundred times, and a golf ball that might touch the clouds.
Somewhere between the bunkers and the birdies is where this little golfer decides what a good round of golf is really all about (and it isn't the score).
Same Time Next Week, Dad? is a gentle, funny story about the best kind of tradition: the one you never want to end.

Rochelle knew nothing about golf until she met Isaac, and had no interest in it until she watched what it did for her son.Once she saw how the game lit him up, she went looking for a children's book about golf to read him at bedtime, and couldn't find one. That gap is where the idea for Same Time Next Week, Dad? was born.
Isaac's love of golf started young, when his parents moved into a house backing onto a golf course. He'd jump the fence and skip school to spend entire days there, captivated by the calm and the quiet etiquette of the game. He went on to play golf for New Zealand as a junior, winning four national championships. These days, his love of the game has been reignited all over again, watching his own son fall for it too.
