Charles Griffiths, of the Department of Zoology, University of Cape Town. His focus is primarily marine invasive species and marine biodiversity and taxonomy, as well as general rocky shore ecology.
Mike Picker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cape Town. His research on the insects of our arid regions has resulted in 130 publications and four guide books. He has a very broad knowledge of the natural history and ecology of the rich South African insect fauna.
Alan Weaving is a retired entomologist with a particular interest in wasps and has published two books on the insect diversity of southern Africa.
