Born and raised in Wales, Cathy Ace now lives in British Columbia, Canada, and is the author of the Cait Morgan Mysteries, featuring her Welsh Canadian foodie criminology professor sleuth who travels the world tripping over corpses and solving puzzling traditional mysteries, and The WISE Enquiries Agency Mysteries, featuring a quartet of female PIs, working from a Welsh stately home. Both series are traditional, entertaining and have been well reviewed. A BC Bestseller, Cathy's work has been shortlisted twice for the prestigious Bony Blithe Award for best Canadian light mystery, and also for the Arthur Ellis Award for best crime short story. She won the Bony Blithe Award in 2015. Her short story "Dear George" appeared on the UK's O Level English Language syllabus and, together with another story, "Domestic Violence", has been produced for BBC Radio 4.
