About the Author

Ruby Varghese, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Jain Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. She has published papers in peer-reviewed high-impact international journals as well as several book chapters. She has collaborated with national and international laboratories, such as the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Kochi, India; the National Research Centre for Grapes, Maharashtra, India; and the United Arab Emirates University. She has received several awards for her work.

Ann Rose Abraham, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Kerala, India. She has research experience at institutes in India and has collaborated with international laboratories as well. A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, she has many publications to her credit, including journal papers, book chapters, and over 20 co-edited books. Dr. Abraham has received several awards for her work.

Shrikaant Kulkarni, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor at the Victorian Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, as well as an Adjunct Professor at the Centre of Research Outcome and Impact at Chitkara University, India. A senior academician and researcher for over four decades, he has delivered invited lectures, conducted sessions at conferences and faculty development programs, and guided major and minor projects in engineering chemistry and related areas. He has published over 100 research papers, more than 50 book chapters, over 25 edited books, and four authored textbooks.

A. K. Haghi, PhD, is a retired professor and has written, co-written, edited or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals. He is currently a research associate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Professor Haghi has received several grants, consulted for several major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. He is Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal.
