About the Author:
Mark Carwardine is a zoologist, writer and broadcaster who specializes in marine wildlife. He has written over 40 books, including a number of bestsellers, and advises governments on whale watching regulations. Mark worked for several conservation organizations, including the World Wide Fund for Nature. His recent TV series include Last Chance to See, which he co-presented with Stephen Fry and which helped to make him into a household name. He lives in Bristol.
