Chris Ashton plays rugby union for Northampton and England. Born and brought up in Wigan, Ashton played rugby league and made the switch to union in 2007. In 2008 he broke the National Division One try scorer record and he was named Premiership player of the season for 2009/2010. He made his debut for England against France in 2010 and in 2011 he became the first person in the history of the Six Nations to score four tries in a single match.
