Jyotiprasad Medhi, Professor Emeritus, Gauhati University, Guwahati, India, was a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Montreal. McMaster and Toronto (Canada), and University of Wisconsin (USA). He delivered invited lectures at several universities in India and abroad.
