About the Author
Jérôme Ferrari was born in Paris in 1968. He is a professor of philosphy and now teaches in Abu Dhabi. He won the 2012 Prix Goncourt and the English PEN Award for The Sermon on the Fall of Rome.
Geoffrey Strachan is the award-winning translator of Andreï Makine.
