About the Author
Margery Williams (1881-1944) was an esteemed English-American children's author whose best-known work is The Velveteen Rabbit. Other popular titles include Poor Cecco, The Apple Tree and The Little Wooden Doll. Sophie Allsopp has been successfully illustrating children's books for twenty years. Previous titles for Templar are The Ballerina's Handbook, Thank You God and The Steadfast Tin Soldier.
