About the Author

Kendra Ferreira is a pencil and mixed media artist specializing in pet portraits, still lifes and coastal scenes. She has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, and lives and works in Rhode Island. Kendra is a founding partner of Beach Studios, Rhode Island, and teaches classes in colored-pencil drawing. Kendra has won many awards for her colored-pencil work, and is a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
