The relationship between dogs and humans has been evolving for tens of thousands of years, but it was only when Scrabble began writing about this from a dog's perspective that humans realized the true nature of their Best Friend status.
Mike&ScrabbleToo is the awkwardly adorable sequel to Mike&Scrabble. It represents the collected posts and tweets of our dynamic duo from the summer of 2016 to 'it's Christmas,' and reflects the changing nature of their relationship - as well as the improving drawing skills of Scrabble's chosen illustrator, Mike.
This book features more flights of fancy, more smiles and fewer moments of sadness than Scrabble's first offering; enjoy it today!

Mike Dicks has had what is best described as a 'portfolio career,' and a life of creating anecdotes about himself. Mike accidentally got jobs selling technologies before anyone wanted them, then made bits of the world-wide-web before anyone knew they needed them. Recently, Mike has been travelling the world teaching people how not to make the same mistakes that he did, and making pictures of Brighton and dead celebrities for people to buy. Mike lives by the sea, in Hove, with a dog called Scrabble. He's married to Debbie and has two sons, and a stepson and stepdaughter.
Scrabble lives in Hove with Mike. She was rescued from the Allsorts Rescue Centre in January 2016 and her story should really be the subject of a 'prequel' book. By all accounts she was an accident on an Irish puppy farm: there are far too many places like these in Ireland, and far too many 'accidents.' The volunteers at Allsorts say that she was picked up by a feisty Irish woman who drives around all the farms collecting unwanted dogs, before the farmers, well, you simply don't want to know what the farmers do with these unwanted accidents. Our heroine then takes her collected dogs to the RSPCA or Battersea Dogs Home, which bring them to the UK and distribute them to various charities and rescue centres. Scrabble probably has hundreds of siblings; perhaps you are owned by one of them ...?
I still do, and really think the humour will catch on. As Scrabble says "This is a simple book, because it's aimed at Humans!" Funny, illustrated giggles, a defo for a present for a doggy human! Quality book also, built to last... loved it!- Dog Training Weekly; Psychiatrist Scrabble is back by popular demand. Open a page or either book to pluck a gem of wisdom from its pages.- Geelong Obedience Dog Club. Wonderfully entertaining and highly recommended for community library collections, 'Mike&ScrabbleToo' features more flights of fancy, more smiles and fewer moments of sadness than Scrabble's first offering and is simply a 'must read' for anyone that has a canine companion of their own. - Midwest Book Review.

Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. The relationship between dogs and humans has been evolving for tens of thousands of years, but it was only when Scrabble began writing about this from a dog's perspective that humans realised the true nature of their 'Best Friend' status. You could read an academic guide to understanding this friendship, and you probably should, but you should also flick through the thoughtful, insightful and funny thoughts of this rather clever dog.Mike&ScrabbleToo is the difficult second album or the awkward sequel to Mike&Scrabble. It represents the collected posts and tweets of our dynamic duo from the summer of 2016 to 'it's Christmas,' and reflects the changing nature of their relationship - as well as the improving drawing skills of Scrabble's chosen illustrator, Mike. This book features more flights of fancy, more smiles and fewer moments of sadness than Scrabble's first offering: if you really enjoy melancholy, you should buy it and write a bad review. Mike&ScrabbleToo explores the growing relationship between a Dog and her Human through the medium of interpretive dance, illustrated giggles and pithy one-liners. It's better than Mike&Scrabble, because Dogs make Humans better people. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
