Synopsis
'As Rocky landed, Amy took a pull and put an extra stride in before the double. The watching crowd gasped. They could see how close it was going to be, but now it would be too close to call.'
Amy is delighted! Her parents have just bought her a new pony, Rocky. She and her best friend, Laura, are part of the Outon Riding Stables where there is a talented group of young riders, whose love of horses cements strong friendships with each other and the people who help them. The girls are excited when Jinni, the owner, seeing their potential decides to form a junior equestrian team to ride in competitions around the country. But there are problems along the way, as well as a strong rivalry and some underhand tactics from Brinshurst, as they work towards a gripping finale in the prestigious National Championships.
Set in the 1990s, this is a perfect story for pony-lovers with a strong theme of loyalty and friendship.

About the Author
Sean Hanan came to writing following a career in education. His inspiration comes from his daughter who discovered horses at an early age and they have been her passion ever since. So many of his ideas have their origins in early mornings and late nights helping her to look after and to compete her horses.
