About the Author

Alex Hayes is a football writer for the Independent on Sunday. He supports Fulham and lives in London, after spending the first 15 years of his life in France. Daniel Ortellis moved to England in 1998 and is the Sports Editor for Agence France Presse (AFP). He lives in London. Xavier Rivoire moved to London in 1994 and is the England correspondent for L'Equipe and RTL in France. He regularly contributes to UK sports programmes on BBC and Talk Radio.
