In the far future, Strontium-90 nuclear fallout has created a sub-race of mutants and freaks. Seen as fit for only one kind of work, some mutants have become bounty hunters, "SD’s". Their name stands for search and destroy, but they’re also known as Strontium Dogs!
One such mutant is Johnny Alpha, named for his ability to project Alpha waves from his eyes, which allow him to see through walls and even into men’s minds! About the Author
Alan Grant a long-time writer of Judge Dredd for 2000 AD, he has worked extensively on Batman (creator of character Anarky), Lobo and the forthcoming JLA: Riddle of the Beast. Carlos Ezquerra co-created Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog. Other projects include The Stainless Steel Rat, Preacher, Just a Pilgrim and Adventures in the Rifle Brigade.
