Phil Clapham is the author Voyageur Press’s "Whales of the World" and "Humpback Whales." He directs a whale research program in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, and is a Research Associate with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. Clapham holds a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has published approximately 100 scientific papers on whale biology and conservation.
