Much of her time is spent sampling food and wine in Europe, North Africa, Asia and especially in India and Pakistan, drawing on an eclectic mix of cuisines which provides the inspiration for her delicious recipes.

About the Author:

Elsa Petersen-Schepelern is a Danish-Australian food and wine writer and editor. She began her working life as a publicist for movie stars, best-selling novelists, sportsmen, and comedians, as well as top chefs, before taking up the pen and the pans on her own account. Based in London, Elsa now spends much of her time sampling food and wine around the world. She draws on a eclectic mix of cuisines, as well as nostalgic memories of wonderful ice cream parlors (now sadly disappeared), as the inspiration for her delicious recipes.

Debi Treloar, originally from a small mining town in Zimbabwe where ice cream was a rare commodity, has lived and worked in London for the past 10 years. Now she has every chance to eat ice cream and takes full advantage, with the help of her husband and two small children who road-tested the recipes in this book. Her photographs are well known from magazines such as Homes and Gardens, Red, and Country Living.
