Synopsis

It's the day of the big match between Abernog and Bobipandy and Ogi has baked a cake that looks just like a rugby ball. When one of the players kicks the ball out of the stadium, Fireman Prout throws Ogi's cake to the players, thinking it to be the spare ball. Will Ogi be able to save his cake or will it end up a gooey mess on the rugby pitch?

Review

Ogi, Nib and Bobin make up the lively members of the Welsh singing group The Bobinogs. Having been on our TV screens for three years now, they appeal to children all over the U.K. Four new books have arrived to complement the television series. These blend the Welsh culture, eco-friendly issues, gender roles and ethnic diversity into a humorous mix of entertaining stories as rich as one of Ogis recipes! Its the day of the big match and Ogi is keen to make a cake in the shape of a rugby ball to celebrate his teams certain victory. Guess where this ball finally ends up! We share in the tensions of a huge sporting event and the hilarious activities of a great day. Colourful illustrations keep us involved and entertained to the very end.
