Synopsis
Following the huge success of The Art of Faery (2003), the collaborators have once again come together to create another astonishing collection. These are the most imaginative and beautiful images produced by the best fairy artists working today, all superbly reproduced for fans and connoisseurs. New contributors have joined some of those showcased in the last anthology, and their pieces use every form of media in a rich and magical mix: watercolor, pen and ink, oil, and pastel. About the Author
David Riché set up a website dedicated to fairy art initially as a hobby in 1999. Driven by the discovery of talented and creative artists worldwide, this website became a full-time occupation--a search for inspired and inspiring individuals with a flair and passion for fairy art. Alan Lee is one of the most popular fantasy illustrators in the world. He has worked with Brian Froud, and his work adorns the covers of many fantasy novels, including The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
