James Haspiel is considered one of the greatest collections of Marilyn Monroe, he has an incredible collection of personal items that belonged to the Diva. He has advised authors, journalists and television documentaries regarding the life of Marilyn and the person behind the mask. This is his first book.

This is not a biography, although it does contain knowledgeable data on Monroe's life and career. Rather, it is a sensitive reminiscence from an illuminating perspective.
