Synopsis
One breezy day, Harry and his friends Ted and Lulu climb to the top of a little hill. "Come on, Harry!" cry Lulu and Ted as they fly through the air and tumble down the little hill through the soft grass. But Harry doesn't feel loopy or swoopy or light. He needs a helping paw... or two!

About the Author
Kim Lewis is an artist, author and printmaker. Born in Canada, she studied Fine Arts in Montreal before moving to the UK. Many of her picture books have been set in Northumberland where she lives with her family.

PreS–Harry and his friends are back for another adventure. The three stuffed animals climb the hill near Harry's house ("It wasn't too high. It wasn't too far") and from the top enjoy the wind. With three hops and a leap, Lulu the lamb and Ted the bear fly "in the air as light as could be." Harry, an elephant, is more hesitant, but with encouragement he makes an attempt. His ears flop over his eyes, and he doesn't fly like his friends, so they come to his aid. Holding on to his ears, they hop "one, two, three" and soar together. With simple text and just enough plot, this selection is a good choice for storytimes and for sharing one-on-one. The soft and gentle pastel illustrations will be enjoyed by young children, who will feel the wind and lightness of air as they "fly" with Harry and his pals. The touchable quality of the art invites frequent readings.
