Synopsis
A mythical journey of discovery into a cloud-capped world. Sundeep lives in the lowlands of a mountain range. One day he decides to climb the mountain on a quest to discover the whereabouts of his missing parents. There he uncovers a shocking secret - the mountain tops are inhabited by a strange folk who can sail in the clouds and are trying to find a less polluted place to live. As Sundeep learns from an old sage that he is descended from the mountain folk, he must make a difficult decision - to return home, or to stay on the mountain with his new-found love...This hauntingly illustrated prose poem is presented in a gorgeous gift format.

About the Author
Hugh Montgomery conceived this story as he climbed Mt Aconcagua in the Argentine Andes. He is a consultant in intensive care and based his earlier book, "The Voyage of the Arctic Tern", on his diving experiences. Liz Pyle has illustrated some of the most dramatic mountains on the globe, as well as pictures for books, CDs, newspapers, magazines, posters and children's books.
