About the Author

Ann Gravells is a lecturer in teacher training at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire with over 22 years experience of teaching. She is a consultant to City and Guilds for for various projects as well as externally verifying the City and Guilds teacher training qualifications. Ann holds a Masters in Educational Management, a PGCE, a Degree in Education and a City and Guilds Medal of Excellence for teaching. She is the author of 'Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector' and 'Planning and Enabling Learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector'.
