PreSchool-K A charming counting book which tells a story as children count from one to ten. A small boy states that ``One bear at bedtime is all I need'' but ``I have two pigs who wear my clothes,'' ``Three kangaroos who bounce on my bed,'' etc. The child continues to count the ten various animals who cause nighttime mischief and ends with his beginning cry, ``But one bear at bedtime is all I need.'' The textured watercolors come to life against backgrounds of solid white. Of particular appeal to children will be the caterpillars that they are asked to find on each page. Youngsters will eagerly respond to this book, either one-to-one or in a large group. Barbara S. McGinn, Oak Hill Elem . School, Severna Park, Md .
