About the Author
Mick Inkpen is a top-selling picture book artist and writer whose Kipper and Wibbly Pig stories have sold millions worldwide. He is the winner of the Smarties Prize for Kipper's A to Z (praised by Publishers Weekly in 2001 as one of the "most distinguished titles of the year"), the British Book Award for Lullabyhullabaloo, and the Children's Book Award for Threadbear. His Kipper stories are the basis of a television show that was hailed by Parenting Magazine as a Top 10 show for children under five.

PreSchool-K A charming counting book which tells a story as children count from one to ten. A small boy states that ``One bear at bedtime is all I need'' but ``I have two pigs who wear my clothes,'' ``Three kangaroos who bounce on my bed,'' etc. The child continues to count the ten various animals who cause nighttime mischief and ends with his beginning cry, ``But one bear at bedtime is all I need.'' The textured watercolors come to life against backgrounds of solid white. Of particular appeal to children will be the caterpillars that they are asked to find on each page.
