David Wallechinsky, renowned Olympic historian, is NBC's radio commentator on the Olympics and the author of many best-selling reference books, including The Complete Book of the Summer Olympics, The People's Almanac Presents the 20th Century and The Book of Lists. He also has written for the New York Times Magazine and Parade. He currently splits his time between Santa Monica, California, and the south of France.
