Polish-born in 1962 and landscape architect graduate, Ewa Karpi?ska, insatiable researcher, has developped and pushed back the boundaries of 'wet on wet' watercolour technique. With a soaked through paper, the watercolourist has to adapt their action depending on the decreasing humidity of the paper. Based on the observation of water's evaporation, this approach requires simultaneously forward-thinking, ability to react and patience.
