Laurie Krebs is a seasoned traveler and former teacher. A mother of four and grandmother of five children, she seeks to expose young readers to a variety of different cultures and environments through her writing. Her most recent Barefoot title is We re Roaming in the Rainforest.Aurélia Fronty is a painter, illustrator and textile artist. Her illustrations for this project were inspired by her travels in Peru and Bolivia. She has also illustrated One City, Two Brothers for Barefoot books.
