A story behind a story - the beginnings of civilization on Earth were achieved through the intervention of beings from another planet, the Anunnaki, the gods of old. Yet, the Anunnaki weren't alone. They brought with them hybrids - a cross between their own race and yet another alien race. In doing so, they brought with them a source of power none could match that was dedicated solely to aiding them. Yet, these hybrids also had a mission because the elder race had foreseen a time when the Anunnaki would create their own hybrids, humans, and in doing so would change the destiny of the planet. It would be up to the first hybrids to return the destiny of Earth to its rightful owners.

From the Author:
Origins of the Alad Udug Lama, the first book in a series, should be of interest to science fiction fans as well as to those who enjoy reading about Earth's early civilizations. Interwoven amongst the science is political intrigue that threatens to sabotage every effort for progressive movement on two planets as well as a star-crossed romance that was never meant to be and for which the individuals are willing to endure much personal sacrifice.
From the Back Cover:
Janice M Dietert B.A., M. A. - author of Illusions in Time and co-author of the Compendium of Scottish Silver is continuing her writing with historical tales based on the research of Zechariah Sitchin. Origins of the Alad Udug Lama is the first book in a series and tells of a group of helpers who were created and designed to rescue a dying planet only to be exploited for the unique powers. They persevere in the second book, Memoirs of the Alad Udug Lama, always keeping their true mission at the forefront of their minds until it is their time to fade. In the final book, Awakening the Alad Udug Lama, they find themselves centuries in the future inhabiting a new bodily forum and bereft of the very memories and powers necessary for their survival and the completion of their mission.
