Bruce Leininger graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University and earned an MA from Columbia University Graduate School. In 1990 he relocated to Dallas, Texas. There he met and married Andrea Scoggin. Career transitions took them to San Francisco, California, where their son James was born in 1998. They currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana. Bruce is currently a busy corporate executive, working as both president of Accelerated Performance Resources, LLC, a human resources consulting company he founded in 2002, and as director of Human Resources for Rotorcraft Leasing Company. Andrea Leininger pursued a professional ballet career after high school, dancing for ten years with various companies across the country. Her dance career took her to Dallas, Texas, where she met and married Bruce Leininger. After retiring from ballet, Andrea transitioned into a general accounting career, which she enjoyed until the birth of her son James in 1998, when she left work to become a full-time wife and mother. Andrea and her husband currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana, and own their own human resources consulting business, Accelerated Performance Resources, LLC, for which she serves as a professional resume writer. She is also a gifted ballet teacher and enjoys teaching master classes for dance schools across the country, as well as serving as ballet director for Dance Graphics in Lafayette. Ken Gross served in the army for three years before becoming a journalist. He was an investigative reporter and a columnist before becoming an author. He has written or ghostwritten sixteen books, including The Victims, The Verdict, and I Got The Show Right Here. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Andrea. Paul Boehmer appeared for two seasons at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California, where he played Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Lucius in Titus Andronicus. He also appeared in The Constant Wife, played Banquo in Macbeth, and was Antipholus of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors in the 2005 Summer Rep Season at the Globe. He has appeared in Sir Peter Halls's acclaimed Broadway production of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband, Off-Broadway in the New York premiere of Miss Evers' Boys, and Off-Off-Broadway in New Yorrick, New Yorrick and End of the Day. He has appeared regionally at the Pioneer Theatre Company, Arena Stage, Seattle Rep, Huntington Theatre Company, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cleveland Playhouse, Missouri Repertory Theatre, Walnut Street Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Theatre Works Palo Alto. His film and television appearances include The Good German, The Thomas Crown Affair, Star Trek: Enterprise, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Frasier, Judging Amy, Guiding Light, and All My Children. Paul is most proud of his award-winning unabridged recording of Moby Dick. He holds a BFA in acting from Southern Methodist University and an MFA in acting from the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware.
Do the nightmares of a Louisiana boy mean he is the reincarnation of a downed WWII pilot? His parents make a case for just such a phenomenon as they detail their investigation into the facts behind his dreams. Paul Boehmer's tone is a little too astonished at times as he talks about James Leininger's obsession with airplanes and his uncanny knowledge of the details of a pilot's life. At the same time, though, Boehmer brings humanity to the story as he talks about the pilot's sister and surviving comrades. Whether or not listeners believe in reincarnation, Bruce Leininger's research casts an important light on the lives and deaths of the flyers who figure in his son's dreams. Paperback. Condition: Very Good. This unforgettable account of a World War II fighter pilot come back from the dead will leave no doubt to the possibility and truth of reincarnation. When James Leininger was just two, he began to suffer horrific nightmares. His desperate parents were at a loss to help him until he said just three things: "Corsair" "Natoma", and a name, "Jack Larsen". From these tantalising glimpses into a life that ended sixty years ago, James' parents travelled thousands of miles and spent many long years piecing together these facts to try and find an answer that could end his torment. Finally, despite his mother's fears and his father's staunch Christian beliefs, they found only one solution to the endless coincidences that surrounded every detail in James' life - the crew and mission of the USS Natoma Bay, and the last flight of a World War II fighter pilot. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged. Seller Inventory # GOR001263123
