Synopsis
The Thing! began in 1952 and lasted seventeen issues, featuring the Thing (never seen clearly) as a narrator. Although there was an obvious E.C. influence the stories got wilder than anything the tightly-controlled E.C. crew ever produced. Artists include Dick Giodano, Bob Forgoine, Albert Tyler and Steve Ditko.
Two volumes presented in full colour slipcase. Featuring introduction by Lawrence Watt Evans.

Hard Cover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Books are in excellent condition, as new with illustrated endpapers, each volume about 370 pages, full color, complete comic books in the compilation with covers, last pages with muscle men ads, how to hypnotize ads, etc. Bindings are solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exteriors shows no blemishes, text/interiors are clean and free of marking of any kind. Slip case show light shelf wear, edge wear, no tears. Books cover issues of The Thing comic from February 1952 through November 1954 , issues 1 - 17.
