Ian Stuart-Hamilton graduated in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University and received his doctorate from the University of Manchester. He was a Research Associate at the Age Research Centre, Manchester, before becoming the first lecturer in Psychology at the University of Buckingham. He is currently Professor of Psychology at University College Worcester. He is the author of the established textbook The Psychology of Ageing.
