About the Author:

Peter Woolley lives in Bootle and is an avid collector of old picture postcards. He is chairman of the Bootle Historical Society and past chairman of the Merseyside Postcard Club. He is the author of six other pictorial books, including "Bootle: a portrait in old picture postcards" and "Cunard: a pictorial history"
