Back in 1973 David Potter was pastor of an Evangelical church in Surrey. One of his daughters, Rachel, has learning disabilities. From comments made to a friend, and the concern raised of what would happen to her and many others like her, when parents were no longer able to look after them, grew the charity A Cause for Concern now called Prospects. Prospects is a Christian voluntary Organisation which values and supports people with learning disabilities so that they live their lives to the full' puts into a few words a quarter of a century of faith. Many, many people were involved in bringing the Charity to where it is now.
