Daniel Finamore is Russell W. Knight Curator of Maritime Art and History, Peabody Essex Museum. Ghislaine Wood is Deputy Director of the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the University of East Anglia and Fellow of the V&A Research Department.
