Lendl may be hot, but the contents of this book left this reviewer cold. Fourteen chapters, each describing a day's instruction in no logical sequence, contain incidental instructional tips and autobiographical comments about the world's number-one player. Lendl explains how he refined his groundstrokes, sharpened his volleying, improved his footwork, and increased his stamina. He also gives advice on tennis psychology, exercise, nutrition, equipment, and etiquette. This book has a little of everything, but doesn't contain much of anything. Dennis J.
