Synopsis

Making Connections That Work is a comprehensive biblical guide to developing and maintaining godly relationships. Drawing on a lifelong love of architecture, the author uses the simple metaphor of a bridge and bridge-building to illustrate his teaching and communicate the power and significance of relationships in every area of life. The practice of engineering physical bridges teaches us a great deal about how we can build successful relationships with God and others.

Review

"Robert Fergusson has an ability to communicate the Word of God with such precision and fervency. Every sentence is carefully and prayerfully constructed, jam-packed with anecdotes, historical facts, insight and revelation, and some of the funniest true stories you've ever heard! As you read this magnificent book, you will begin to see that unless you begin to apply these eternal principles to your own existence, a life rich in relationship will always be out of your reach, bringing much disappointment and heartache. Humanity was never designed to exist void of connection, but was designed for relationship and community, honesty and hope. I pray that as you read your heart is challenged and inspired to pursue a life of truthful connection and bountiful community." - Dariene Zschech, worship leader and songwriter, from the foreword."
