Synopsis
The last book of the New Testament, "Revelation", has been an enigma to mankind ever since the Bible first appeared. It is a series of predictions which relate to all the time between its writing and "the end of the world", and many have interpreted its forecasts to be relevant to the last years of this millennium, when it is believed that the apocalypse will occur. The predictions, as interpreted and explained in this book, reveal a story which shows that "Revelation" did indeed predict an apocalypse, but of a different kind from that which had been imagined - not the end of the world, but a completely new beginning. Maps, illustrations and photographs give a visual picture of the future which builds upon the predictions and provides a developing pattern of how the world will look as the so-called apocalypse takes shape. Also included are astrological projections drawn from the original "Revelation", giving precise dates for the likely events predicted by St John the Divine.
