He is a solicitor and Notary Public and a partner with City solicitors Hobson Audley Hopkins & Wood. His clients include inventors, authors and programmers, as well as companies involved in computers, telecommunications, publishing, multimedia and biotechnology. He is Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (UK) Working Group on Electronic Commerce and Legal Counsel to the ICC Electronic Commerce Project in Paris.
