About the Author

Sue Farran is a Principal Lecturer at the University of the West of England, Bristol, and Director of the European, International and Comparative Law Unit. She is co-author of a book on the French Legal System, and for a number of years has been involved as an asessor for the International Rene Cassim Human Rights Moot for students, held in Strasbourg.
