About the Author
Rebecca Goodbourn is Policy and Research Manager at the Campaign for Learning and leads its two Learning to Learn projects in schools and FE, a range of other research and development projects and its policy programme.
Steve Higgins is Professor of Education at Durham University. His research interests lie mainly within the areas of effective use of information and communications technology in schools, understanding how children's thinking and reasoning develops, and how teachers can be supported in developing teaching and learning in their classrooms.
The Campaign for Learning is an independent charity working for an inclusive society in which learning is understood, valued and accessible to everyone as of right. We aim to stimulate learning that will sustain people for life.
