Patricia Cox has built her outstanding collection of quilts over the past 25 years. She was at the forefront of the American quilting revival of the 1970s. An early champion and researcher of Baltimore appliqué designs, she was closely involved with the National Quilting Association's teaching certification program. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Maggi McCormick Gordon is an editor and writer who specializes in needlecraft and quilting titles. Her previous books include The Book of Home Sewing, The Quilting Sourcebook, and The Quilter's Guide to Amish Quilts. Born in Texas, she now lives in London, England.
