Marilyn Deegan PhD FRSA is Digital Resources Director of the Refugee Studies Centre at Oxford University, and has been instrumental in the establishment of the Oxford Digital Library. Formerly Manager for Computing in the Arts at Oxford University, she was also Professor of Electronic Library Research at De Montfort University. She is Editor of Literary and Linguistic Computing, the Journal of the Association for Literary and Linguistic Computing, published by Oxford University Press, and Co-Director of the Office for Humanities Communication based at King's College London. Simon Tanner BA(Hons) ALA is Senior Consultant at the Higher Education Digitisation Service at the University of Hertfordshire. Formerly Head of Library Services at Rolls-Royce and Associates, he has held information and IT posts at IBM and the Pilkington Library, Loughborough University. His consultancy activities have centred upon digitization, project management and digital library development for clients such as the British Library, the Royal Academy of Arts and Denmark's National Electronic Research Library. He also advises a number of European initiatives and the New Opportunities Fund digitization programme.
