Synopsis
The 1970s in South America was a time of hope and a time of despair. A time of hope because, in the wake of the Medellin Conference, a church that had traditionally sided with the powerful was now taking its stand with the little ones. About the Author
James O'Halloran is a Salesian priest who has been involved with minority groups for most of his life. During the past thirty years, however, his specific apostolate has been the fostering of these small groups worldwide, as member, coordinator, and promoter. He is the author of Small Christian Communities: Vision and Practicalities (2002)
