About the Author:
Roy Warke was ordained in 1953 in Newtownards, Co Down after which in 1959 he travelled to New York to study at Union Theological Seminary until 1960. He served as Archdeacon of Dublin from 1980-88 and Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross from 1988-98. In 1964, he married his wife Eileen with whom he has two daughters.
